You’re thirteen. All you want is a normal life. But most normal kids don’t need heart transplants.

So there’s this doctor. He says there’s a chance for you. But he also says it’s experimental, controversial and risky. And it’s never been done before.

Shortlisted for the Carnegie Medal, this is a powerful, thought-provoking story from Malorie Blackman.

  1. I am completely in love with this book! I borrowed it from the library because my friend recommended it, and I finished it in an hour (an hour that was very well spent!)! It is a sorrowful story, makes my feel sympathy for Cameron (the main character) and it raised my awareness for people with problems around the world. I am definitely buying this book for my library at home. Thank you so much Malorie, please keep writing wonderful books!
    Thank you.
